Electric vehicles are driving us towards a greener, decarbonized future so it’s no surprise that [Tesla](https://www.tesla.com/) is one of the most talked about stocks around! Many car companies are getting on trend, including BMW, Nissan, Chevrolet, and Ford. It’s interesting then, that even though mining plays an [important role](https://elements.visualcapitalist.com/the-key-minerals-in-an-ev-battery/?utm_source=VC+Elements&utm_campaign=e426607df2-VCE_Email_May_4&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_f3fdb4328c-e426607df2-45261543) in electric vehicles, investing in mining is rarely mentioned.

*So the question is - how do we turn EV investors into mining investors?*

On May 25th, as part of the [Northern Miner](https://events.northernminer.com/)’s Global Mining Symposium, Prospector’s founder Emily King sat down with a panel of mining experts to discuss the role of mining in technology, and possibilities of ways to bring more investors into the mining investment space. Panelists included:

- Belinda Labatte, CEO of [Lomiko Metals](https://lomiko.com/)
- Nolan Peterson, President and CEO at [World Copper Ltd.](https://worldcopperltd.com/)
- Martin Turenne, President and CEO at [FPX Nickel Corp.](https://fpxnickel.com/)
